Monica Lizama a.k.a Mo the Barber was born and raised in Houston,TX. Growing up, she discovered her gift for fine arts, but had difficulties applying her skill to a given career. Throughout high school, Monica began cutting her own hair, not realizing this would be her calling. Then started out from humble beginnings in her apartment, to neighborhood barbershops, to fine men's barber spas. Working hard to hone and develop her craft. For over fifteen years, Monica has been a barber.
